Embarassing Moment...

1) We had this huuuuge project due on Friday, so I had been getting 4 to 5 ours of sleep per night.
2)I woke up on Thursday with a massive headache/migraine but I had to take my AP chem test.
3) I walked over to the nurse's station, which is in the commons area, where everyone gathers before school to talk, do homework, and chill
4) They had just cleaned the sliding glass doors to the nurse's station and I was wearing my glasses.
5) The glass doors were closed.
6) Not paying attention, I walked straight into the glass doors with a huge bang, hitting my head on the glass, breaking my glasses, that cut me just above my eyelid.
7) I heard a bunch of middle school kids laughing
8) I pretended that nothing happened, quickly opened the door, and stole some Advil because the nurse wasn't there.
9) I walked out and high-tailed it back to my Chemistry class.
10) I hope no one else saw it....

So yeah, I still can't figure out how to work it...but it exists! So I guess if you were to talk to me via webcam, I would look like this.

New President

A week late...but:
Barack Obama is our new President of the United States.
Many of my friends were very upset.
Facebook statuses:
"When Obama means that he will "distribute the wealth," does that mean that homeless people will live in the White House?"
"I am moving to Canada"
"Welcome to a socialist America."

Obviously, there are some strong feelings against him.

He is our President. We must support him and hope that he will correctly guide our country in this recession. Although I and many people do not entirely believe in all of his promises, we must have faith. This is an excellent feat for the African Americans and he is an inspiration to us all.
John McCain gave an eloquent concession speech that brought tears to my eyes. In my opinion, it was better than Obama's. Obama though, gave a speech with force and purpose.

America is entering into a new chapter of its history. I can only hope that we can stay united and work together to maintain the nation we love.

I love concerts, especially when the artists are better live than on their cd =)

Hacked

Sayhellotoseven got hacked yesterday.

I walked in check on my video upload, and noticed that the themes and challenges were changed. Great I thought... Someone from the team thought that it hadn't been changed yet.

But then, the page started to flicker and waver and I was obviously battling someone else on their computer who was logged in. They had sent a couple of mean messages to other youtubers and began changing our information. I was talking to Brett the whole time and we were both freaking out. I know that my heart was pounding. I somehow managed to change the password, and everything was ok. BUT, this brings me to a point.

WHY do people want to DESTROY something that isn't theirs.
WHAT makes them think that they have the AUTHORITY.
Mean-spirited comments are NOT funny. Being dishonest is NOT cool.

Exhaustion

I don't know why the hell I am updating this right considering I haven't done so since the fourth of July. It is 11:00 and I still have two major tests to study for. Of course, I am going to even be lazy and not put a picture.

School as been going on now for a about 2-3 weeks, I don't even know. I am in 3 AP classes and 3 regular classes. The constant worry of grades and G.P.A points and college visits are driving me crazy and making my stomach hurt. Yeah, I want to make top 10, but it will require an unprecedented amount of effort, work, and time. I will indeed give it a go, I just hope that my effort will crank out the grade.

*sigh*

1st day of Practice

This was a video taken the first day of choir practice for 3 hours! I am in the Alto section, so it is pretty heavy on alto, but it is my favorite song, so here is the snippet! And the everyone comes in late and then the director starts mocking us b/c we didn't sound so good! haha.

Ok, is it just me, or is blogspot really trying to get you to use your gmail account? I have it set up to me yahoo and it keeps having me sign out and sign back in :/

N z ways, I'll be in Spain from July 10-August 6 as I study Spanish in classes, around town, and at my homestay. I will probably be updating this everyday, as I don't like to write in diaries b/c I have so much to write that it takes up 10 pages and then my hand feels like it is going to fall off.

Luckily, no one reads this, so I can post whatever I please! So be prepared for me to reveal the deets!

New Layout

Yup. new layout. It isn't quite as boring now.

TMC

Got eliminated from TMC today. I had a slight feeling that I would be going soon. I met some really awesome people though, so if there is the slightest chance that you are reading this, I just want to say thanks for an awesome experience =)

Orientation Ugh!

Yay for 6 hours of volunteer orientation. I am exhausted.

I am sooooo relieved

PSYCHE! I am not taking the SAT II Chemistry Subject Test tomorrow because I have decided to take AP Chem next year instead of AP Bio!!!!

I love them both, so it was hard, but maybe I can take Bio two years from now.

Dedication videos?

I completely slept through my alarm today to wake me up at 6:15....I actually turned it off while I was sleeping. I have no recollection. I also am embarrassed, as this has never happened before. I had my mom high-tail it to the other side of town, and I made it just as it was starting!

bleeding gas prices

My thumb keeps bleeding at the most inconvenient times! I didn't think it was that bad....

And does anyone want to talk about gas prices???? I spent over 50 dollars filling up for 12 gallons! OMG I am going to go broke soon. We seriously need to find an alternative. Someone from my school rigged their car to run on vegetable oil...that doesn't sound half bad eh?

ouch!

So I was trying to fix my scissors this morning, and I sliced my thumb. I didn't know they were so sharp if you were just grazing your finger across them! It bled for a bit, but surprisingly didn't hurt that bad.

Indiana Jones Movie: Pretty good. Or good special effects, although sometimes you could definitely tell that they were special effects. And this one time, they went swimming in the water and the wife had a white shirt on, and when she supposedly got out of the river, her shirt was dry! I would recommend seeing it though, there was some creepy parts!

The room is coming along ok, I guess.....there is still a warzone though.

back!

I'm back, and boy do I have a lot of stuff to do!

I get my computer for an hour per day though, and my time is almost up! I really don't want to go to cross country tomorrow because it starts at 7 a.m.!!!! I might just sleep in and run later in the day....

Got some good piano pieces, Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, and Debussy. So I guess I have a lot of practicing to do. I also have to study for the brutal chemistry subject test =(

And, the mystery channel gets crazier by the day!

Monday: hiking and stuff

Today we went hiking up this huge rock and it was sort of tough, but the view at the top was beautiful!  You could just turn and have a panoramic of trees and hills and blue sky!

We then went shopping in town and I got a cute shirt and a camo bandana at a dog store.  It is supposed to be for dogs, but I am going to wear it....I don't think that anyone else will be able to tell the difference!  At least I hope not.

I am just sitting here on the porch with my friend's laptop as she is asleep on the deck...which is a pretty odd sight, and the sun is shining in my face so that I can barely see what I am typing.  

Themysterychannel is truly driving me crazy.  So if anyone reads this and wants to message me with information, please feel free.

Sunday--Chillin Like a Villain

Vaca! woot! I am using my friend's parents computer because I am officially grounded at home. 

Just beein chilin, running in the hills which practically killed me, tanning, swimming, the usual stuff people do on vacation.

I g2g head out to lunch. I don't even know if people read these! haha. I guess I can look back at my posts later in life.....

Friday Night

hey!

this is so new to me, I've never had a blog!

this is going to be really quick.

I've got a piano recital tonight, going out of town tomorrow until Tuesday. I am really worried that I am going to miss something important dealing with themysterychannel. I already feel really out of the loop =(

Also, my parents have said they are going to take away my computer until I have completely gone through my room and chunked a bunch of stuff. Greeaat. Does anyone else have overbearing parents, lol.

And SCHOOL IS OUT BABY!
