Nice Things

So, I (rather my parents) bought me some sunglasses. They are very cute...and very expensive. In my defense, they were my only birthday present from my parents. The sunglasses are really cool, but the price scares me.

Money. money. money.
I take very good care of all of my nice things, but I am worried that I will break/scratch/bend these sunglasses. Sunglasses are not known to be durable. I also do not want someone else to break them. The only expensive thing that has ever been broken under my care was my first digital camera that I had for three years, and I didn't even break it. Someone was looking at pictures and dropped it on the ground.

*knocks on wood of desk*

In other words, any time I buy something nice, I become very OCD about protecting it (ex. I double-bag my laptop, examine shirts/pants after I eat, constantly check my phone to make sure the screen is ok, keep a tight camera case on my camera etc.). On a positive note, I am super excited to wear them, especially on vacation!

I'm the same way!

Like when something costs a lot I'm always so cautious. But whenever it's cheap it's like I could care less, cause I always say, it's okay, I can get another pair if these break, or something,
